Scuba Diving Itinerary

Breakfast: Rise and shine wake up call between 7:30 and 8:00. Breakfast is served in our cozy dining room: cereal, milk, juice, french toast (Omelet available upon request) and always cold fresh coconuts.

Scuba Dive Excursion Begins: After breakfast, we head to the boats and head out for a day of diving! The first dive sites are about 45 minutes away. Enjoy the spectacular scenery and fun crew along the way. The dive sites consist of wall dives with spectacular drop offs. Local inhabitants include black corals, manta rays, sharks, octopus, dragon moray eels and large varieties of colorful reef fish. Dive time is determined by your personal air consumption or decompression limits, whichever is met first.

Lunch: For lunch we take you to Cook Island, a bird conservation reserve. This is a special treat which requires special permission to go ashore. A Conservationist Officer is with us, who points out to you some of its special inhabitants. Frigates, Turns, Brown Noddys and Shearwaters call this island home and nesting grounds. Lunch is served on the beach.

Second Dive: After we have finished lunch and enjoyed the island, we will launch off to the next dive site. This is about 15 minutes out. Here again you will be overwhelmed with spectacular underwater corals and sea life. Because of the extended surface interval you will have plenty of allowable bottom time to enjoy a long, exciting dive. We will return to the hotel around 2:30 or 3:00. Our staff will take care of your gear, unloading and cleaning so you can spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach, or reviewing the spectacular photos you took on your days dive!

Fishing Itinerary

Breakfast: Rise and shine wake up call 5:30. Breakfast is served in our cozy dining room: cereal, milk, juice, french toast (Omelet available upon request) and always cold fresh coconuts.

Depart for fishing site: The fishing grounds are between 30 and 90 minutes away from our hotel. The areas for the days fishing are determined by your personal guide. He will pick the best site of the day based on tides, currents, phase of the moon and the target fish.

Lunch Break: Around 11:30 we take a rest from fishing to have ourselves a well deserved lunch hour! If we are fishing by boat we will either lunch on Cook Island or Paris Point. If we arrived to our fishing destination by truck, we will lunch at the fishing site.

More Fishing: After lunch, we move to a different fishing spot trying to mix up the target fish between trevally (Ulua), bonefish, fishing snappers, groupers or large wrasse fish. We will continue fishing until the cows come home or the sun goes down, and since there are no cows in Christmas Island, our fishermen usually get back to the hotel around 5pm

Dinner: 6:00 is dinner time! Lets eat some of the fresh catch of the day!
