| Christmas Island Diver's Association is located in the heart
of London Village (the main village in Christmas Island), just minutes
from the beach and about a 25 minute drive from the airport. We can be
spotted easily from the road with our big red and white dive flag flying
overhead and logo banner outside. If you are staying at somewhere other
than the Mini Hotel or the Beach Bunglaows, don't worry, our staff will
provide you with a morning pick-up service from your hotel. And, since
a member of our staff is always at the airport to meet and greet visitors,
travelers just stopping off for the day from Fiji can easily receive transportation
to participate in a half-day activity with us and be back at the airport
in time to make the afternoon flight. Typically, a day will start between
6am and 9am depending on the type of activity planned, and will end between
2pm- 3:30pm. All activities include a lunch and drinks, and if necessary
gear rentals are available too. Internet usage is available at a nearby
kiosk ($5aus per hour), or in London Village. We have 2 boats that we use for our ocean tours. A 24ft.sport skiff
with a 40hp Yamaha outboard engine, and a 43ft. shaded outrigger canoe
with a 90hp Yamaha outboard engine. All of our boats are equipped with
life jackets, first aid kit, emergency oxygen, and a satellite phone
for emergencies. We also have a safari truck that we use for our over-land
tours. We employ highly qualified full-time hotel and guiding staff to
meet all of your needs. For your safety, all of our staff are trained
in CPR and First Aid. In addition, our divemasters and guides know exactly
where to go to get the best conditions and action for whatever it is
your looking fo r, however, if you have a special request they are always
ready to accommodate to the needs of you. What
puts Christmas Island Diver's Association ahead of the rest is
our commitment to giving our guests only the best of what Kiribati has
to offer. Depending
on conditions, we will travel farther and go to the out-of-the-way
places to deliver what you're expecting. If it is fishing we will
go
to the
most productive flats or reef that day, if it is scuba diving we
will take you to the best drop-offs to get your big pelagic action,
snorkeling
on the most pristine shallow reefs, and bird watching at the most
active nesting sites during that time of year. As our fishing guides
like
to say, "...this is not fishing...it's catching!" Let Christmas
Island Diver's Association be the one to make that next perfect adventure
for you. |
